Sanober Rizvi

Sanober is a Registered Psychologist and Board-Approved Supervisor with over 20 years of experience providing compassionate, evidence-based care to adults and children. She specialises in psychological assessments for children and adolescents, including Autism, ADHD, and intellectual disabilities, and supports families with NDIS access and school placement.

In her therapeutic work, Sanober supports clients experiencing anxiety, trauma, low self-worth, relationship challenges, and emotional regulation difficulties, using evidence-based approaches such as CBT, ACT, DBT, Schema Therapy, and EMDR. She has extensive experience working with clients under WorkCover, CTP, DVA, and Victim Services, with a particular focus on trauma support for veterans and families referred through DCJ, drawing on her background as an ex-military psychologist.

Sanober is known for her warm, collaborative approach and creates a safe, supportive space where clients feel understood, empowered, and confident in navigating life’s challenges. She is fluent in Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi, and English, and works sensitively with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds. She also provides supervision for provisional and registered psychologists, helping them grow their therapeutic and assessment skills.
