Rabia Muqtadir

Rabia is a registered counsellor and a provisionally registered psychologist, currently working towards full registration.

She provides client-centred, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive support to adults across a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, grief, trauma, emotional neglect, and life transitions. She has experience working with adoptees, women impacted by domestic and family violence, and couples seeking to strengthen or rebuild their relationships. She also offers adult ADHD assessments via telehealth.

Her therapy work draws on evidence-based approaches such as CBT, ACT, DBT, and Emotionally Focused Therapy. As a bilingual therapist, Rabia brings deep insight into the experiences of multicultural communities and tailors each session to meet the unique goals of her clients.

In addition to individual counselling, she has co-facilitated group programs on parenting, women’s mental health, and relationship wellbeing. Rabia is known for her warm, thoughtful approach and commitment to creating a safe space for healing and growth.
